Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 3/4 cup thick and chunky salsa
  • 1 (15.5oz) can S&W® Chili Beans (do not drain)
  • 3/4 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend

Directions

In 12-inch skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes, until beef is no longer pink, stirring to break up meat; drain excess grease. Stir in salsa and beans; reduce heat to medium and cook 6 to 8 minutes, stirring often, until heated through and slightly thickened. Spoon ¾ cup beef mixture onto bottom half of each bun. Top each with 2 tablespoons shredded cheese. Place bun top on top of cheese and serve.

Serving Suggestion: This is a family friendly recipe. Serve with apple wedges and carrot sticks for a complete meal.
