  • 1 (15.5oz) can S&W® Garbanzos (drained, rinsed)
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8oz vanilla wafer cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.5oz) can S&W® Garbanzos (drained, rinsed)
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8oz vanilla wafer cookies

Directions

In food processor, combine beans, almond butter and applesauce. In small bowl, mix 1/4 teaspoon of the sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of the cinnamon. Add remaining sugar, cinnamon and the vanilla to the food processor. Cover; process 30 to 60 seconds or until smooth. Spread in shallow dish or pie plate. Sprinkle top with cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve with vanilla wafers.

Tips: Almond butter can often be found in the grocery store in jars as well as in individual serving size packets. 2 of these packets is perfect for this recipe.

Fresh apple slices also make great dippers for this sweet slightly spiced dip.
