In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook sausage over medium-high heat until browned, stirring frequently. Add 2 tablespoons water; cover and cook 5 minutes longer or until thoroughly cooked. Stir in all remaining ingredients except peas and shrimp. Bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, stirring once or twice. Stir in peas and shrimp. Cover; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until shrimp are pink and opaque, stirring once.

Tip: If your sausages are already cooked, just cook them until they brown. Proceed with recipe.
If you prefer, you can substitute Basmati rice for the long grain white rice.
