Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup grits or corn meal
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 4oz uncooked, shelled deveined shrimp
  • 1 (15oz) can S&W® New Orleans Style Savory Sides (do not drain)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives, if desired
  • 4 lemon wedges, if desired

Ingredients

Directions

In small saucepan, cook grits in water as directed on package. Meanwhile, heat oil in small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook 4 to 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, turning once. Reduce heat. Stir in red beans. Cook over medium-low heat until thoroughly heated. Spoon grits into 2 bowls. Top with bean mixture and chives. Serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over the shrimp.
