Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups water, divided
  • 1 cup quick cooking rice
  • 1 (15oz) can S&W® New Orleans Style Savory Sides (do not drain)
  • 1/2 cup diced kielbasa (about 3oz)
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions, if desired

Directions

In small saucepan, cook rice in 1 cup water as directed on package. Meanwhile, in small skillet, cook red beans and kielbasa over medium heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Add remaining water and stir. To serve, spoon rice into 2 bowls. Top with bean mixture and green onion.

Tip: You can use your favorite cooked smoked sausage for this recipe.
