Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped dried mission figs
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 (15oz) can S&W® Black Beans (drained, rinsed)
  • 4oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Orange peel strips, if desired

Ingredients

  • 4oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup honey

Directions

In small microwavable bowl, mix figs and orange juice. Microwave on high 30 seconds. Set aside for 5 minutes. In food processor, place beans and fig mixture. Cover; process 30 seconds or until finely chopped. Stop machine and add all remaining ingredients except orange peel. Cover and process 30 seconds. Stop machine and scrape sides. Cover and process 30 seconds or until smooth. Spoon into medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or until chilled. If desired, garnish servings with thin strips of orange peel.

Tip: Figs might vary in their moisture content. If final mixture is too thick to process, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk or additional orange juice.
