Ingredients

  • 1 (15oz) can S&W® Pinto Beans (drained, rinsed)
  • 1 (15.5oz) can S&W® Garbanzo Beans (drained, rinsed)
  • 1 (15oz) can pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients

  • 1 (15oz) can S&W® Pinto Beans (drained, rinsed)
  • 1 (15.5oz) can S&W® Garbanzo Beans (drained, rinsed)
  • 1 (15oz) can pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In large food processor, combine beans and pumpkin; process 1 minute or until almost smooth. Add tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin and desired amount of cayenne; process 30 seconds or until well blended, stopping machine and scraping sides of bowl as needed. Season with salt and pepper if desired.

Serving Suggestion: Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and cayenne pepper or pepitos. Serve with crackers, pita chips or pita bread.
