In 3-quart saucepan, cook bacon over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until crisp, stirring frequently. With slotted spoon, remove bacon to paper towel to drain. Meanwhile, combine 1 cup of the beans, 1 cup of the vegetables and 1/4 cup of the broth in food processor. Cover; process 20 seconds or until smooth. Set aside.
Add remaining broth and macaroni to saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook 6 to 8 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Stir in pureed mixture, remaining beans and vegetables and Italian seasoning. Cook until thoroughly heated. Top each serving with bacon, cheese and a spoonful of pesto if desired.
Tip: You can use any small pasta for this quick hearty soup.
You can also substitute 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables in place of one can of mixed vegetables.
